Training Program of 5G and Cyber Security introduced by Anshu Prakash

The day-long training program emphasized how 5G and Cyber Security plays a critical role in business across domains and was attended by over 65 participants of Joint Secretary and above level from more than 24 Central Ministries.

In a recent development, the National Telecommunications Institute for Policy Research, Innovation and Training (NTIPRIT), the capacity building wing of the Department of Telecommunications, Government of India organized a day-long training program on 5G and Cyber Security for Senior officers of Government of India from various ministries and departments of Central Government. The day-long workshop was inaugurated by Secretary (Telecom), Department of Telecommunication, Government of India, Anshu Prakash.

During his address in the program, Anshu Prakash accentuated the importance of 5G and its impact across domains and stressed upon the importance of learning the basic aspects of the 5G technology and Cybersecurity for state-owned departments and organizations.

Deepak Chaturvedi, Member Services, DoT added on to say that the role of 5G in various governmental initiatives would be immense, while Senior DDG NTIPRIT, U K Srivastava emphasized how 5G technology and cyber-security plays a critical role in supporting the objectives of the government through training and capacity building initiatives.

A total of 65 participants of Joint Secretary and above level officers from more than 25 Central Government ministries took part in the program. The officers were trained in Cyber security and 5G and its use cases in various sectors of the economy which they can apply while working for policymaking in their respective sectors.
