RAJKOT, September 24: Rajkot Municipal Corporation (RMC) announced a Rs 1 lakh cash prize here today to those who can come up with the best concept to keep the city clean. "The civic body has decided to launch the concept called 'Prayas' under the 'My City Clean City' theme, along with a citizens' group called the Utkarsh Civic Group," RMC Commissioner Vijay Nehra said. "Any citizen, social, business, educational or religious organisation or government and non government organisation can take part in the concept," he said, adding that participants would have to fill up a form, which has to be submitted before October 20, 2015. "The clean city concept has nothing to do with the union government's smart city mission since the corporation decided to make the city clean six months ago even before the centre announced names of cities for its smart city mission," Nehra said.
