REPL bags orders for preparing GIS based master plans in Karnataka and UP

Delhi-based Infrastructure consultancy firm REPL (Rudrabhishek Enterprises Ltd.) announced that it has received orders for preparing a GIS-based master plan for 3 ULBs (Urban Local Bodies) under AMRUT, in Karnataka and for development of industrial corridor Dhuriyapar, Gorakhpur in UP respectively.

Delhi-based Infrastructure consultancy firm REPL (Rudrabhishek Enterprises Ltd.) announced that it has received orders for preparing a GIS-based master plan for 3 ULBs (Urban Local Bodies) under AMRUT, in Karnataka and for development of industrial corridor Dhuriyapar, Gorakhpur in UP respectively.

For the state of Karnataka, REPL will formulate large scale GIS-based Master Plans for three LPAs (Local Planning Authorities) in phase 2, package 5 of AMRUT cities which include Vijayapura (525 sq km), Bagalkot (129.47 sq km), and Badami (15.91 sq km).  This will help authorities identify and rectify problems faced by them in the development, maintenance, and governance of the cities which are consequences of planning in the past such as Water logging and flooding, Sanitation – UGD, hotspots for Road accidents, frequent traffic jams, and slow-moving traffic.

For the state of UP the company will be engaged in the preparation of a GIS-based Master Plan & sectoral plan for the development of industrial corridor Dhuriyapar. The project site is spanned over 5500 Acres (2300 Ha approx.) and located at, GIDA, Gorakhpur.  With the implementation of a GIS-based master plan for industrial corridor Dhuriyapur, the GIDA aims at the overall development of the area through Public-Private Partnership including improvement in the connectivity of the region with the enhancement of the existing social infrastructure such as sanitation, healthcare, education and recreation facilities.

Dr. Harish Sharma, Executive Director-REPL said, “While preparing the master plan we will do a detailed analysis of urban sprawl, study of existing land use, assessment for future needs, determination of suitability of available land for various activities/uses, planning of new road links, reserving land for public facilities and services, zoning and framing suitable development promotion and control regulations."

REPL is already working on many infrastructure and planning projects for both the state and central governments projects pan India including Smart Cities projects, PMAY, BIM consultancy for Chennai Metro, GIS-Based master plans, water supply system, street vending plans, online building plan approval system etc.
