Odisha Government rejigs 10 IAS officers in the state

The Odisha government on Monday transferred 10 IAS officers in the stare in an urgent transfer order issued by the Chief Minister.

In a major bureaucratic reshuffle announced by the Navin Pattanaik government has transferred 10 IAS officers across the state.

The rejig includes Satyabrata Sahu, a 1991 batch IAS officer who is presently returning from central deputation has been appointed as Principal Secretary Micro Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME). A 1997 batch officer, Sanjeev Kumar Mishra, who is presently the resident Commissioner (I/C) , Government of Odisha, New Delhi has been transferred as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) Industries Department.

C Venugopal, a 1988 batch IAS officer presently Member Board of Revenue, Odisha has been allotted additional charge of Chief Resident Commissioner, Government of Odisha, New Delhi. on the other hand, Shri Gopal Bandhu Satpathy currently Special Secretary Planning and Convergence Department has been transferred as the Managing Director Odisha State Co-Operative bank. While Debendra Kumar Jena who was presently holding the charge of Odisha State Co-Operative Bank as Managing Director has been transferred as Additional Secretary Planning and Convergence Department.

A 2017 IAS batch officer Somesh Kumar Upadhyay who is presently posted as CGM OMFED Bhubaneshwar with Additional Charge of CEO Hockey Promotion Council, Bhubaneshwar has been transferred as Sub-Collector, Titlagarh district, Odisha. Another 2017 batch IAS officer, P Anvesha Reddy, presently ED of OMC Ltd. with an additional charge of ED OMECL has been transferred as Sub Collector Badipada district, Odisha with an additional charge of Executive officer of Badipada Municipality besides other prominent transfers.
