Nashik's newly made Smart Road to have 4 e-toilets

All four e-toilets will be strategically set up on the 1.1 km stretch of the road between Ashok Stambh to Trimbak Road. The facility is being put in place for the convenience of citizens.

In a recent development, the Nashik  Municipal Smart City Development Corporation Limited (NMSCDCL) has revealed its plans to develop 4 e-toilets in the stretch of the city's maiden smart road. The e-toilets are being manufactured by a Nashik based industrial unit and every user will have to pay Re 1 to use them.

All four e-toilets will be strategically set up on the 1.1 km stretch of the road between Ashok Stambh to Trimbak Road. The facility is being put in place for the convenience of citizens.

The toilets will be made of stainless steel and weigh around 1.5 tonnes. While public toilets are cleaned manually, the e-toilets are maintained automatically.

The 1.1km stretch from Ashok Stambh to Trimbakeshwar is being developed as a ‘smart road’ under the smart city project by the NMSCDCL. Concretisation of the stretch has been completed.
