the Ministry of Defence, Government of India in a major decision announced the appointment of two Independent External Monitors (IEMs) for Military Engineering Services (MES) and Border Roads Organisation (BRO) with effect from 31st May 2021.

In this regard, Retired IAS officer Sudhir Bhargava and Retired IPS officer Rajiv Jain are bestowed with the responsibilities respectively for a tenure of three years.
