Maharashtra Government transfers 26 IAS officers

The major decision of reposting 26 IAS officers is announced by Devendra Fadnavis led Maharashtra Government.

In a major administrative decision, the Government of Maharashtra has issued transfer orders of 26 IAS officers with immediate effect. Sachin Kurve, a 2003 batch IAS officer who was earlier Collector Mumbai Sub-urban District, is entrusted with the duties of Secretary to the Hon'ble Chief Minister. Palghar Zilla Parishad CEO is posted as the Mumbai Suburban Collector.

S R Daund, another 1997 batch officer who is currently deputed as the Secretary (SDC) and Special Enquiry Officer (2), General Administration Department Mumbai, is now entrusted with the charges of Divisional Commissioner, Konkan Division. R R Jadhav, a 1998 batch IAS officer who was acting as the Commissioner, Labour, is now posted as the Commissioner, Fisheries, Mumbai. A B Misal, a 2003 batch IAS officer has been posted as the Commissioner, Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation, replacing Dr. n Ramaswamy, a 2003 batch officer who will now take charge of Commissioner Labour.

D S Khushwaha, a 2006 batch IAS officer who was the CEO, MHADA board, Mumbai is currently posted as Mumbai Maritime Board. Khushwaha has replaced Radhakrishnan B, a 2008 batch IAS officer, who is currently entrusted with the duties of Chief Officer MHADA Board.On the other hand, a 2007 batch officer, Ajit Patil has been appointed as the Managing Director, Maharashtra Information Technology Corporation (MITC).

Another 2009 batch IAS officer Prahsant Narnaware,  who was acting as Collector Palghar has been now appointed as Joint Managing Director, CIDCO, among several other transfers ordered by the state Government.
