Madhya Pradesh Government rejigs 20 senior IAS officers

The bureaucratic reshuffle announced transfer orders of as many as 20 IAS officers in the state.

In a bid to advance administrative reforms, the Government of Madhya Pradesh recently announced rejig of 20 senior top IAS officers in the state.

The order issued transfer of senior IAS officer Amit Rathore as Principal Secretary, Science, and Technology, besides top IAS officer Chhavi Bhardwaj being named as the Managing Director of MP Metro Rail Corporation. The notification issued by the state government further named senior IAS officer P Narhari as Secretary, MSME, and Gulshan Bamra is transferred as Principal Secretary Planning, Economics, and Statistics department.

Senior IAS officer E Ramesh Kumar is posted as Commissioner, Social Justice, and Disabled Welfare Department, while IAS officer Vivek Kumar Porwal is named MD, Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company, Jabalpur, and IAS officer Swati Meena Nayak has been transferred as MD, Madhya Pradesh Women Finance and Development Corporation; among other important transfer, an order issued.

Other IAS officers transferred include Ram Rao Bhosle who was transferred as Director of, Women and Child Development department and Vikas Narwal named as MD, State Agriculture Marketing Board. Senior IAS officer Priyanka Das has been transferred as Mission Director NHM, Bhopal, IAS officer Rakesh Kumar Shrivastava is transferred as deputy secretary in the mineral resources department.

IAS officer Deepak Kumar Saxena is named as Director, Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Protection, and IAS officer Girish Sharma is transferred as Deputy Secretary, General Administration Department. Rajesh Kumar Ogrey is shifted as secretary, MP State Information commission.
